Hands-on innovation at Amity Boundless
Visitors try a game controlled through hand gestures at AIDC’s exhibition stall.
At the Amity Boundless Exhibition, AIDC demonstrated a gesture-controlled video game that visitors could try for themselves. Moving beyond a conventional keyboard or controller made the experience immediately interactive and approachable.
Dr. Vinayak Majhi’s post reflects on the value of taking practical prototypes to students, faculty and other visitors. The demonstration shows how hands-on experiences can spark questions and turn abstract ideas into something people can explore. The original video captures the system in use at the exhibition.
