Sansad Spardha: preserving parliamentary history
Students contribute to the digitisation of historic Lok Sabha archives.
During three days of Sansad Spardha at Amity University, students worked with AI-assisted transcription tools to support the digitisation of historic parliamentary records. The exercise connected practical learning with the preservation of India’s parliamentary legacy.
Dr. Vinayak Majhi’s story celebrates the curiosity and intent students brought to the work. It illustrates how university projects can serve a wider public purpose while giving students experience of meaningful, large-scale information challenges.
