Wearable Posture Analysis and Feedback
A modular wearable concept for tracking body alignment and movement in real time and delivering local feedback without depending on a fixed camera.
Bring movement feedback into settings where a fixed camera is inconvenient.
People do not always practise or work inside a controlled camera view. This wearable concept follows alignment across multiple body segments and provides local feedback intended to help a user notice changes during an activity.
- Multi-segment posture awareness
- real-time motion analysis
- localized haptic or visual feedback
- user calibration
- applications in sports, exercise, yoga, rehabilitation and ergonomics
The user experience
The user completes an individual calibration, performs the activity and receives a visual or tactile cue. A trainer or supervisor can use the observed movement patterns to guide a discussion about technique and comfort.
Practical value
Makes alignment feedback available during activity; it does not diagnose musculoskeletal conditions or guarantee injury prevention.
Application scenarios
Examples of potential use, not claims of an existing deployment.
Workplace ergonomics
Explore posture-awareness feedback during selected tasks as part of a professionally led ergonomic assessment.
Guided movement practice
Support observation during exercise, yoga or sports drills where the participant changes position or location.
